Dera helps visitors choose an AI tool for the job they need done. We aim to collect only the information needed to operate the site, respond to requests, improve search quality, maintain saved preferences, and protect the platform from abuse.

• Information you provide directly: contact form details, tool submissions, listing correction requests, feedback, email address, message content, and similar information you choose to send us.
• Search and usage data: search queries, page views, recommendation interactions, feedback signals, referral pages, device/browser details, and approximate technical information that helps us understand site performance and improve recommendations.
• Account or admin data: if you sign in to an admin or protected area, authentication and role information may be handled through Supabase or local fallback storage depending on the deployment configuration.
• Browser storage: saved tools, saved recommendations, comparison lists, theme or cookie-notice choices, and similar preferences may be stored in your browser.

We may use collected information to:

• Operate, maintain, secure, and debug Dera.
• Respond to contact messages, tool submissions, correction requests, and partnership notes.
• Improve search, task pages, Dera Choice recommendations, editorial coverage, and workflow guidance.
• Understand which pages, searches, and recommendations are useful or need improvement.
• Prevent spam, scraping, fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms where necessary.

We do not claim that recommendations are personalized financial, legal, medical, or professional advice. Search and usage information may be aggregated or reviewed to improve the product experience.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us run the site, such as hosting, analytics, database, authentication, email, form handling, security, or operational tools. Confirmed services in the codebase include Vercel tooling and Supabase when configured.

Dera links to third-party AI tools and websites. Some outbound links may include referral or affiliate parameters. Once you leave Dera, the third-party provider's privacy policy and terms apply.
